A comparison of bare ground vs cover crop after receiving 3/4″ of rain the previous night. These pictures are of two adjacent orchards. The poster’s orchard has had drainage issues in the past and this is their second year in the Apis m / Almond Board of California Seeds for Bees program and they are very pleased with the results! Water is drained within hours compared to bare ground that takes days to drain.
