Come out and enjoy the fun this fall on Govin’s 11 acre corn maze in Menomonie, WI, pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, shoot a pumpkin from the pumpkin cannon or enjoy one of the many other activities we have for all ages. Never been in a corn maze and afraid you won’t find your way out? Don’t worry, we have games you play to help you find your way out, or if all else fails we have corn cops to help you find your way. If you are really adventurous try the maze on Friday and Saturday nights by flashlight.
The maze and all the activities is a great activity for 4H clubs, Youth Groups, School Groups, Scouts Troops, Company Gatherings, and College Groups.
If you are joining us in the evening bring your flashlight and enjoy the corn maze in the dark. You never know what might be lurking around the next corner. When you find your way out of the maze join us by the bon fire and roast a marshmallow or two.
After you find your way out of the maze, stroll over to our Pumpkin Patch. We have 3 acres of pumpkins just waiting for that special someone to bring them home. Come and bring the children let them pick out the pumpkin of their dreams. They come in all shapes and sizes from 1 lb to 200 lbs.
In early June we plant the pumpkins and gourds. It doesn’t take long for the little seeds to start forming plants. Before you know it we have a jungle of vines. As the vines mature they form flowers that once pollinated turn into pumpkins. To help the pollination we rent bees from a local honey producer. You can look at the pumpkin patch and think there are not going to be any pumpkins, because they hide under the giant leaves. Once the vines die in the fall, you have a beautiful field of orange treasures.
