Submit Photos for Bee Culture’s 2017 Calendar Photo Contest NOW! Read Instructions on How to Below!

Don’t miss Bee Culture’s 2017 Calendar Photo Contest. It closes Oct 1, 2016. The topic this year is What Bees Do At Home. We’re looking for bees in the hive type photos…landing boards, top bars, on frames, washboarding, guarding, grooming, sleeping, loafing around, cleaning cells, storing pollen and nectar, carrying out the garbage, taking care of the queen, feeding the kids…anything bees do at home is what this is about.

Take a look at the sample photo and page. See how the photo fits on the page. Not quite square, but more horizontal than vertical. Watch your lighting and your focus to make sure it all can be seen, and it’s all just right.

Take a good hi-res shot, but not so big you can’t send it as an email in jpg format. That’s important. Attach your photos to an email. One photo per email. Include with each email your name, mailing address and phone number. Put 2017 Calendar in the subject line. If you send a CD write right on the CD, not on the envelope.

Send everything to Jerry@beeculture.com, or Jerry Hayes, 623 West Liberty St., Medina OH.
