Come and Bee Social, Again in the beautiful Fingerlakes region of Ithaca, NY!

The Eastern Apicultural Society’s annual Short Course and Conference is a week-long educational experience featuring internationally known research scientists, extension apiculturists, apiary inspectors and beekeeping experts. Social and networking opportunities abound. Field trips include Wednesday workshops at Kutik’s Everything Bees followed by an onsite Mexican BBQ with pit-roasted lamb, pork and chicken with lots of vegetarian sides. Friday will feature a trip to Cornell University to explore the collection of bee-related material at Mann Library and tour the Botanic Gardens. Auctions will provide lively bidding opportunities through a virtual auction, silent auctions during the conference and a live auction with the Thursday evening BBQ on campus. Friday will be a seated Banquet, wrapping up the excitement of the week.

This year sees the return of the Honey Show and the Children’s Program, “Bee Olympics” and continues the tradition of the Painted Hives, apiary experiences and keynote speakers including Dave Tarpy, Michael Palmer and Tom Seeley.

Join us for a fun, educational conference to learn more about the art and science of beekeeping!

Don’t miss out, join the fun! Registration requiring dormitory rooms and/or breakfast and lunch meals on campus closes July 7th, but registration for the short course and the main conference is open until July 25th.
