COLOSS Survey – Understanding sources of beekeeping information

The COLOSS organisation ( is an international network for beekeeping scientists and advisers. Its goal is to improve the well-being of honey bees at a global level. Several groups exist within COLOSS, each focussed on a specific honey bee health topic. One such group is called B-RAP (Bridging Research and Practice), which aims to connect apiculture science with outreach and extension.

Our global survey (25 countries and counting!) seeks to better understand why people keep bees, what are their most trusted sources of beekeeping information, and what kind of training beekeepers most appreciate, so that we can ultimately deliver more effective educational experiences.

The survey will take participants about 10 minutes to complete.

Deadline for completion is December 31st, at 11.59 pm. Just in time for New Year’s!

We will use your valuable information to focus our future scientific work and extension efforts. Results will be announced later in 2021.
