Bee Informed Partnership’s “Commercial Beekeeping: A Field Guide” is now available to the public!
At the end of 2019, a collaborative effort that was three years in the making came to culmination. Bee Informed Partnership, working with successful commercial beekeepers from across the Nation and our sponsors, came out with a new mini/epic publication: “Commercial Beekeeping: A Field Guide.” This 269-page pocket guide comes packed with tips and tricks of the trade used by some of the most successful beekeepers in the US, some bringing generations of experience and learning to the table! The field guide touches on topics from growing your operation, what it takes to run a commercial beekeeping business, management practices, common problems and solutions, and an appendices section that offers a wide range of useful references and techniques.
The commercial field guide was initially intended to provide a complete training resource for commercial beekeeping staff, but with such a variety of helpful information we had to make it available to the general public as a way for every beekeeper to expand their knowledge about management, safety, bee health issues, commercial beekeeping, and so much more!
If you would like to pick up a copy, please check with your favorite beekeeping supplier or you can go to beeinformed.org/support and click “BIP’s Pollen Basket” and choose one as a thank you gift for your donation of $30 or more.
